Market Metrics is a web app that enables people all over the world to create, explore, compare, attend and reflect on marketing campaigns.

When you download the app and create an account (“Account”), we may collect certain information (“Registration Information”) about you, such as:
- Mobile Number;
- Gender identity;
- Date of Birth;
- Location, and
- Login information and friend lists for social media accounts that you connect to your Market Metrics Account (this includes, for example, your Facebook account (“Social Media Accounts”)).
You will also be required to create a password in connection with the registration of your Account. Once you register, you will be able to review and change this information at any time by accessing your “Profile” page. You control your profile and are able to correct or update (other than your email address, mobile number, date of birth, gender and location) your information at any time by just logging into Market Metrics.
We may ask you to provide your full name, address, and email address in order to uniquely identify you on Market Metrics. If you contact our Customer Support team, we will receive your email address as the information you send to us to help resolve your query. We will keep records of our communications with you, including any complaints that we receive from you about other Users (and from other Users about you).
We do not recommend that you put sensitive information on your profile to abuse or misuse. This may include:
- Email addresses;
- instant messaging details;
- phone numbers;
- full names or addresses;
- credit card details;
- national identity numbers;
- drivers’ license details;
- details of your religious denomination, and
- details of your personal health.
For information and photos that you upload about yourself, you are explicitly consenting to our processing of your information and making this public to other users. If you post anything inconsistent with our Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to terminate your Account. For safety, security, and to prevent fraud, we require users to verify their accounts and might ask for your phone number. We want to avoid fake Market Metrics accounts being created which can be used for malicious activities and cybercrime. Third party’s are used for account verification. This is the only way that Eventy Inc uses your phone number.
When using the App, it will collect information about latitude and longitude and may save your device’s coordinates to offer certain features to you. This information helps us identify your physical location and we may use it to personalize the App and make it easier for you to create marketing campaigns. If you would like to disable location services, you may do so by the following:
- iPhone app - settings, privacy, location services, Market Metrics
- Android - profile, privacy, off
By using the App, you agree and acknowledge that Market Metrics operates in the United States. We ensure that data is adequately protected by ensuring that valid, legal mechanisms are in place. If you live in a country with data protection laws, the storage of your personal data may not provide you with the same protections as you enjoy in your country of residence. By submitting your personal information, you agree to the transfer of your personal information to, and storage and processing of your personal information in any such countries and destinations. Data may be stored by third parties to whom we have transferred it. We do our best to protect your data collected in the App from misuse, unauthorized use, access, alteration, loss, and destruction. However, no database, server, or network transaction is ever fully secure or error free. Using Your Information
Our main goal is to ensure your experience on Market Metrics is an enjoyable one. In order to deliver an enjoyable experience to you, we may use your Account and Registration information to:
- Offer you our services and features;
- Contact you about updates and new offerings for the App;
- Personalize the App and the content we deliver to you;
- Conduct research and analytics about how you use and interact with the App;
- Troubleshoot problems;
- Resolve disputes between you and other Users; and
- Investigate fraud, protect our legal rights, and to enforce our Terms & Conditions.
Disclosing Your Information
Market Metrics does not sell your Registration and Account data to third parties. If you consent, we may share or disclose your Registration Information, such as when you use a third party web client or application to access your Account. We will cooperate with all third parties to enforce their intellectual property or other rights.
Organizers and Third Party Organizers may not see the Registration or Account information for another Organizer that was provided on the App. When an Organizer chooses an third-party service they would like to see more information about, we provide the data entered on and cross-analyzing the marketing campaign by the Organizers. Organizers may see information about data they have created. Organizers may have a link to data external to the App for a user to learn more about a marketing campaign. The link may go to a page/service/website/app or similar service owned by an Organizer or a Third Party Organizer. We are not responsible for the actions of these Organizers, or their Third Party Organizers, with respect to any data you provide them. It is important that you review the applicable policies of the Organizers, and if available, the Third Party Organizers, of an marketing campaign before providing Registration Information, Account Information, or associated information for that marketing campaign.
We will cooperate with law enforcement enquiries from within or outside your country of residence where we are required to by law or to protect the vital interests of a person, address fraud, security or technical issues. This may include preserving or disclosing any Registration Information, Account Information, or associated information. If we believe it necessary, these law enforcement enquiries include a judicial proceeding, court order, subpoena, or legal request. In such cases we may raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us.
In the event that Market Metrics undergoes a business transaction or change of ownership, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, re-organization, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, or in the event of insolvency or administration, we may be required to disclose your personal data.
Modifying Your Information
You may access or modify the Registration Information you provided at anytime or permanently delete your Account.
When your Account is deactivated, we take reasonable efforts to make sure it is no longer viewable on the App. Where you request that your profile is deleted via the app, Market Metrics is authorized to make this data unavailable and fully deleted within 30 days. After 30 days, we begin the process of deleting your deactivated Account from our systems. We are not responsible for any information, pictures, or other content that is deleted from our systems resulting from the deactivation of your Account. You must create a new Registration record even if your Account was accidentally or wrongfully deactivated. Anonymised information about activity on Market Metrics is retained for longer for statistical and product research purposes but this is not attributable to an individual once the profile has been deleted.
To prevent abuse and/or misuse of Market Metrics by a User following termination or deletion of a profile/Account we shall retain such information as we deem in our sole discretion may be necessary to ensure that User does not open a new Account and profile in breach of our Terms and Conditions and to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.
Correspondence with our Customer Support team will be retained for longer to allow us to deal with any subsequent queries you may have, for legal or regulatory reasons, or for lawful and legitimate purposes.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. Market Metrics does not knowingly collect any information about or market to children, minors, or anyone under the age of 18. We request that you do not submit information to us if you are younger than 18. If we become aware that a child, minor or anyone under the age of 18 has registered with us and provided us with personal information, we will take steps to terminate that person’s registration and delete their Registration Information from Market Metrics. If we do delete a profile because you violated our no children rules, we may retain your email to ensure that you do not try to get around our rules by creating a new profile.
Securing Your Data
Market Metrics implements appropriate security measures to protect and prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control, including your personal data. Again, While we take security precautions, databases, websites, and internet transmission is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee that unauthorised access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur. If you think someone has had access to your social media password or a third party service has been compromised, please report it to the relevant social media platform as your data may have been compromised. If you lose your password or give it out, change your password immediately. You may report these incidents to Support at email@example.com.
Third Party Accounts
If you have created an Market Metrics profile through a third party website and you do not want to link your Market Metrics profile to your profile on the third party website, Market Metrics cannot amend these settings. Please visit the application settings on your third party website profile and follow the instructions to remove the Market Metrics access permissions.
Market Metrics only uses the APIs, OAuth tokens, or other means provided by the applicable Social Media Account to integrate your Social Media Account with our App. As such, we only receive the limited information that each Social Media Account permissions to be transferred.
Changes To This Policy
Your International Rights
EU Users have the right to lodge a complaint with data production regulators. You have a number of rights under European Data Protection law if you are an EU citizen.
- You may request what personal data an organization is processing and why.
- You may request a copy of your data.
- If the data you request is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected.
- You have the right to have your data deleted in certain circumstances.
- In limited circumstances, you have the right to request that processing is stopped but the data retained.
- You may request a copy of your data in a machine-readable form that can be transferred to another provider.
- In certain circumstances (including where data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests or for the purposes of marketing) you may object to that processing.
- There are several rights related to automated decision making where processing carried out on a solely automated basis results in a decision which has legal or significant effects for the individual. In these circumstances your rights include the right to ensure that there is human intervention in the decision-making process.

By using the App, you are consenting to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States. You agree that you will not file or participate in a class action against us. For the immediate future, the English version of the Policy is the sole available version.
